This fabulous postcard of Theodore Specht’s bowling alley at Hazelhurst popped up on eBay this morning. It was posted to a friend in California by Clara Specht in 1910. She loved to send postcards. Below are two more images of the alley. Hazelhurst is today’s Athenaeum, and the bowling alley occupied part of what is now Lakeview Circle.
